Captain Jeb's 2008 fishing season is starting out strong!!

Captain Jeb Bridges return to Southern Cross to run the offshore fishing has gotten off to a great start! Jeb's love for fly-fishing and light tackle teamed up with his custom Gausebuilt 26 foot center console has provided us with an offshore program like we have never had before. Come join him on his quest to pit the lightest tackle possible against the strongest game fish in the Caribbean. Since RAKU arrived on Little Cayman's shore last month we have had regular catches of Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and Wahoo. There have been reports of Mahi-Mahi (Dolphin Fish) being caught on Grand Cayman, so it is a matter of days before they will be added to daily catch and the dinner menu at the SCC. Little Cayman offers great blue water fishing. Blue water anglers can target prized game fish like Blue Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo and Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), just to name a few. One of the tremendous benefits of visiting an island that is the pinnacle of an underwater mountain right next to the Cayman Trench (the third deepest trench in the world) is thrilling catches take place as close as a quarter mile from shore. When you go deep sea fishing, you spend the day actually fishing, not running out and back to the fishing grounds.
