Born and raised on Guanaja Island in Honduras, Carlos began
commercial fishing at age 15. (Line fishing for Snapper for export
to the US.) When he was 18, his uncle, a professional fishing guide,
taught him to fly fish and he was hooked. 8 years later he became
a fly fishing guide at Guanaja premier resort, Posada del Sol for
12 years guiding hundreds of people from around the globe,
until devastating Hurricane Mitch. Today Southern Cross Club is
home for Carlos.

Brought up fishing on the Alabama Gulf Coast, Jeb has guided from Kiribati in the Pacific to Patagonian Argentina and Chile. A former Southern Cross fishing guide, Jeb returns to head up our offshore fishing program. Come join him on his quest to pit the lightest tackle possible against the strongest game fish in the Caribbean. (Dont let the state-of-the-art equipment on his fully outfitted boat fool you.
